Approval

Telling her was going to be the hardest. She was going to be disappointed. I knew she would be. I know it isn’t a friend’s place to judge another friend, but she would’ve expected better from me.

It’s an odd thing. While I know that the most important thing is my own feelings, it feels equally important to get her approval.

In the end, it doesn’t matter though. She will be a friend.

And for that very reason, maybe that’s why I seek her approval.
